How We Started

East Coast Mushroom was started as a hobby farm after learning about the health benefits of mushrooms. In 2020, this knowledge and previous entrepreneurial experience and health care background were combined to start growing mushrooms for personal medicinal use. We soon realized how difficult it was to find fresh mushrooms of the right varieties, so we decided to start bringing high quality gourmet and medicinal mushrooms to you!

We personally start with prime liquid cultures and grow amazing mushrooms for you using organic methods. Our products are created using OUR mushrooms, not those commercially grown in a big factory with unknown methods. We use as many reusable, recyclable and compostable materials as possible in our business and aim to use the most environmentally friendly options available.
